Next race for Showtime is the USAC/CRA 410 event at Santa Maria on August 13!

The team is also strongly searching for sponsorship support to make the Calistoga event on September 3rd and 4th.

So about 26 cars. Got only 5 hot laps. Danny said this place is different and he needs more laps. Qualified 13th at a 18.000 second lap. Started 4th in the heat and finished 4th. Started 14th in the main and running about 11th. Packed the RR wheel with mud on lap 2 and he had to stay on the bottom but still held his own until a flat tire with 4 laps left. Restarted in the back and sliced his way back to 14th by the checkered. The last 4 laps showed that he had learned how to run around this fast round track and was a good test and tune for tonight's 40 lap main event.

August 6, 2011 No qualifying. Lined up into heat races based on night 1 points. Started 4th and finished 4th in heat. Had some motor problems and it wouldn’t run on starts and restarts. Got it sorted out for the 40 lap main event and started 14th. In the meantime, Danny got the track figured out and started running the fast and treacherous high line. We are talking on the fence and wide open. He got to somewhere around 8th when a red came out on the white flag. Under the red, Danny’s LR went flat. We had to change it and restart in the back. In 2 laps he was able to get back to finish in the top 10. If not for the flat tire, he would have restarted 8th and everyone agreed that a 6th place finish wasn’t unrealistic.
