Morty at the races

More of the same place I can't remember

Wags with Morty and Drew. It was the first time I met Drew and it was at the Chili Bowl.

Morty and Drew

Morty was the consumate traditional sprint car fan. Liviing in the midwest didn't allow much of that kind of racing so he traveled around when the CRA was in the neighborhood. He was a fireman that worked hard and made it possible for him to go racing. He took his son Drew with him often and he grew up a good fan. too. He would always give me a few Wagsbucks and support the traveling racers. It was always a pleasure to be in his company and he treated everyone with respect and enthusium. It wasn't a CRA tour until he showed his face and I remember some very good times with him and his family. He is missed and I know he's looking down on us from up above. R.I.P. my friend, I miss you!
