The pit booth is open and the day starts for the racers.

Entering the pits means a trip across the track in progress. A little messy and with the cloudy day, it should be a good racetrack! (It was)

We come in outside the 2nd turn and cut across into the pits.

Julie takes Hailey for a little walk as several gather in the USAC work area,

Rip can still smile as he related the 3 to 6 month healing process for his leg. And yes they did drop the car on his foot after he crashed!

Next in line after Cody is Austin. How many cars does Jack have?

He works hard in the pits in this neat scenario with Rip and his sons.

Cody is working on his ride for the night.

Cody's smile is bright as he is living the dream! He won the semi and was 12th in the main as dad let him loose a little bit this night.

Kenny Perkins new ride is a new chassis built by another racer

Kenny lets Chris Holt go thru his cards of info while he smiles for Mrs Wags.

Randy and his tire man are having fun? Is that like a mascot outfit?

Wags and Mrs Ostling are hanging out. She says she doesn't have to come to the races anymore, but it must be fun for her.

The little red sucker gets attention. Little did they know, of course they figured, they would win this one in a thriller.

Kids messing around, no it's Bullet Blake Miller and his hard working crew member Ronnie Gardner hamming it up.

Mike Spencer crewman Eric Kaufman thinking!

Spencer kept Cory Kruseman from putting his "Kruser Kar" in the winners circle for the 89th tome in his CRA history.

Tom Sertich works on the tire his driver Luis Espinoza will use to get to 8th in this weeks main event.

Josh Ford, his dad Ernie and Jimmy May put the finishing touches on a brand new Ellis car. Josh had fast time and was running a strong 2nd in the main event when he biked the car trying to take the lead and the car came back on the hook pretty beat up.

Two pit workers at rest? Randy Carlile, left, is waiting for the funzone to open.

Very little action here in the J Hicks trailer, but that means they were ready!

Randy Shiosaki visits with car owner Brian Kittle.

Ron Chaffin is always smiles and it's early in the day. Imagine the smile in the winners circle later for this car owner.

It looks relaxing here as the Kittle Kar waits to hit the track. Not a great night for the team as they replaced a radiator after hot laps, but still earned a 11th starting spot in the main and ran 10th. Well, he started at the rear on the opening green after going back to the work area before the race started and then changing a tire on a red flag stop, sending him back after he got up to about 6th. A lot of passing for the young lion, but he's young and recovered.

Kenny Perkins car is exposed in the pits before the skin gets put back on.

Reverend Joe has a new organization for Jesus, but will be doing the same things for the racers as always. He also takes Jack Jory's show sprint car to schools and talks about the evil of drugs to the kids. This service is provided free to schools and organizations courtesy of Jack Jory.

Here is the back of his shirt.

Brein Kenney drives the former Stewart owned sprinter.

Don Kazarian announces the new fan sponsored point fund for a 20 race series at the PAS. The money will be come from donations from fans and spit out to the top 15 from A main finishes and 5 from B main finishes. Good idea and they hope it raises a lot of money to help the racers meager pocketbooks. Sounds like a Wagsbuck thing from days past to me.

Yes, that is Super Rickie stirring the pot at the drivers meeting with Showtime egging him on.

Cody Williams ready to go in Dad's ride.

Jack Gardner Sr, son Jimmy and longtime crewman Gavin hang in the trailer.

Austin, Ronnie and Blake again, having fun. That is what sprint car raicng is all about, isn't it?

Jonas Reynolds, his girlfriend Amy and Dad's girlfriend Stacy ready before the racing. Jonas new car looked pretty good as he made the main.

Jonas dad Mike was a drag racer back in the day. He loves racing and has been buiding cars for his son for many years as the 26 year old Jonas is in the fast sprinters now going for rookie of the year.

Brein Kenney is heading to fire.

J J Ercse drives this former Jim Keene owned car. He was 16th in the main event.

Lining up in the push off area is a geat car show every week.

Brother pushing brother as Cody is ready.

Danny Sheridan and Julie Shiosaki look happy.

Happy is not replacing a radiator right off the bat!

Mrs Wags must have been drinking as she makes Doug Allen a little fuzzy.
