Bullring blast

Here I am at the entrance to the pit area at the Bullring. It is a really big pit area.

Whoa, you better pay attention because you are walking right in the off track path and it could get a little crazy here. Levi Robers comes by.

Here comes Alex Schutte after his practice session.

Bryan Clauson, the eventual winner rolls by.

Chad Boat and Evan Margeson go back to their pit area.

Fast timer for the supers is Jeff Rissell. He ended up third in the 50 lapper.

It was quiet in his pit as the pretty blond reads to pass the time.

These cars are amazing.

Justin Mack didn't get a time nor did he start the main event due to a busted head gaskit. With only 12 Supers, that was a blow for the show.

These people came a long way to not get to run.

That might be Kirk Wartman who ran 6th in the main.

Jim Berges led for 20 laps until Troy Regier came to get him.

Tim Skogland was 4th in the main.

Ray Stebbins didn't have a good day. He was last of the 11 who started.

Bryan Warf was runner-up in this beauty. He chased the winner the last part of the race looking for a way around that never came.

Rick Cameron was 5th in the main.

AJ Russell was 10th in the main.

Jim Berges girls in pink walk the pits.

Rookie driver Austin Smith ready to push off in Wally Pankratz # 8.

Jerome Rodela ran this Midget to 8th on the night.

Cody Swanson was 10th.

Alex Bowman's ride was very pretty. He had to pull in early.

Point leader Garrett Hansen comes in from track time.

Ryan Kaplan ran 13th in this one.

Evan Margeson led the main a long time before Bryan Clauson got under him for the win.

Zach Daum was 3rd in the main.

Bryan Clauson came from the third row to squeeze out a win.

Alex Schutte ran 4th on the Bullring.

She must drive the legend?

Thomas Meseraull was 6th in the 50 lapper.

David Prickett pulled in early in the main..

Dave Darland came out form Indiana to run the Kruseman car. He will be here until the Glenn Howard Memorial, the last race of the year.

Garrett Hanson's car.

I made my way up to the top of the grandstands for qualifying. Looking back to the pits to the left, it's scenic.

Note the big haulers for the Southwest tour cars. They had a 154 lap feature after I left.

Looking to the left you can see the big NASCAR track. Beyond that is the drag strip that laid down some heavy groundshaking runs this day. You could feel it way over here!

Like I need a new place to sin?

First car out to qualify - Alex Schutte. He was 9th quick.

Garrett Hansen was 11th quick.

Levi Roberts was 7th fast.
